Even Fox News recognizes the big gap between the opinions of Republicans and the opinions of Democrats when it comes to President Barack Obama’s attempt to get health care insurance reform, particularly when it comes to the “public option” or, as Fox News calls it, the “government run aspect,” but Fox News may actually have significant responsibility for this Republican opinion gap as I show in this video
You can find the full text of HR 3200, the health care bill passed in the the US House of Representatives, to which I refer in this video at http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c111:H.R.3200:
The two clips of Fox News pollster Frank Luntz and his focus group feedback graphs come from Fox News’ August 19, 2009, broadcast of “America’s Newsroom” which I have not been able to find online.
You can see more of MSNBC’s August 18, 2009, broadcast of “The Rachel Maddow Show” from which I took two short clips from my video on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpi5PaAIj8Q
The two clips of Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson come from Fox News’ August 18, 2009, broadcast of “Fox and Friends” which I have not been able to find online.
And, finally, as always, you can find DOZENS and DOZENS more examples of Fox News bias on my Fox News bias playlist on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=A3BD2524FE99BD4D

In Britain we have …
In Britain we have the National Health Service, which is free public health care for everyone from everything from major surgery and cancer treatments to psychological support and therapy. We are geared up if an epidemic of any kind breaks out because no-one would shy away from the hospitals just because they can’t afford it and inoculations would be readily available. This can mean the difference between a level 2 pandemic and a level 5 pandemic, essentially saving the lives of millions.

please listen to me …
please listen to me big government is bad no matter how you look at it please fight this its all a farce think of it this way the government makes a problem the people fear it and the government comes in and solves it and the government gets a little bit bigger and has a little more control trust me universal health care is a bad thing
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
i dont understand …
i dont understand why america doesnt steal the the best healthcare system in the world the NHS(well i think so)
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
I didn’t realize …
I didn’t realize your question was about money, I thought you were asking how it was gov’t takeover of the health care system.
As for bail outs, I believe it was the same people who want the gov’t option that gave those bailouts. Most conservatives were screaming “LET THEM FAIL!”
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
True, because you …
True, because you know everything has to make money.. Like healthcare and prisons
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
Or it could include …
Or it could include making an environment that would make it beneficial for companies to dump their private insurance, pay a small penalty to enroll their employees into a government system (less than the cost of health insurance) until finally the private companies go out of business, at which time you only have the gov’t system.
The private sector cannot compete with a gov’t plan that does not need to run in the black, and can run in the red without repercussions.

Behind? So because …
Behind? So because we work more makes us behind? So you tell them that it would benefit them in the long run? What’s the basis of your “telling” them? What facts are there to support that the government can better decide a person’s health care than a person can for themselves?
What facts are there that Europeans have better health care than the US? They certainly have just as many negatives to our system as they do positives.
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
Wouldn’t a ” …
Wouldn’t a “government controlled health-care takeover” have to include everyone taking the public option and the healthcare companies asking for bailouts?
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
The public is …
The public is actually dumb and uneducated. I am in the medical field and patients ask me,and I tell them what would benefit them in the long run and whats better…most americans do not even know, that most europeans also have a law that garantee’s them 30 days vacation a year, mandated by law, regardless where you work.Unlimited sick days.Americans are so uneducated, they believe, they have the best of everything, until you hit them with reality…how far behind we are compared to europe.

They use health …
They use health care as a means ton control their people. In the other nations, the idea of freedom was never fully recognized (and yes, I mean personal freedom) as it has been in the U.S.
The biggest issue here is that once you go down this slope of even further gov’t involvement in health care, there’s no going back. It’s not something that a year into it there’ll be an “Oops, let’s get rid of this”.
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
Doctors are NOT for …
Doctors are NOT for the health care plan, the largest group of doctors (which still makes up FAR less than 50% of doctors) have been bought out. In polls, fewer than 50% of doctors are for the health care plans, and indeed a large portion have said they’ll either retire early or practice elsewhere if it’s passed.
It is not primarily an issue of insurance companies, it’s primarily an issue of gov’t keeping their noses out of people’s business.
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
i think that a lot …
i think that a lot of it is based on the bevy of misinformation out there. it’s gotten to a point where people don’t know what, or who, to trust. personally, i think it’s ridiculous we don’t have a decent heath care system in the states, but in playing devil’s advocate there’s just been so much bs thrown out there on both sides i think the public is confused.

We are the ONLY …
We are the ONLY nation on Gods Green Earth, that has a system, that profits from its people being sick.We are the ONLY nation on earth that has that unhuman sick system, that is shocking, that is even allowed and legal.
Every other westernized country has universal healthcare for free for its OWN PEOPLE….those countries wanna make sure, thei own people are always healthy and if they are not they hace excess to healthcare and to recover for free..
Its a shame, and I am someone that provides care
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
I don’t understand …
I don’t understand what everyone is afraid of either. As far as reimbursement no- the doctors, nurses and pharmacists are for the health care plan. Primarily it is an issue of our insurance companies are the wealthiest corporations in the country. They see a public option as a threat. To deal with this threat their minions(politicians who use their money ti be continue to be elected) use lies and fear to convince voters that giving health care to all is bad. could go on forever but outofword
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
I still don’t …
I still don’t understand. Is the plan to implement a parallel system like in Australia? I still don’t understand what everyone is afraid of…that doctor’s won’t be able to make as much money?
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
Someone please …
Someone please explain to me the fear that surrounds public health care in the US. There’s definitely drawbacks but coming from someone that lives in a nation with public health care I think there are more positives than negatives.
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
Maybe because they …
Maybe because they are informed and genuinely like the plan?
CNN is a very neutral news source, only beaten out by the BBC which is neutral to the point they will print and air stories denigrating their own network!
If you call CNN leftist then you betray your own extremity in the opposite direction.

“Single Payer Obama …
“Single Payer Obama” said he favors competition and choice, but we now know the truth! What a LIAR! No wonder polls are diving. OBAMA = CARTER #2
We now know “public option” is the trojan horse for GRHC. Thank you Bawny Frank (and others)! Its all over the internet, Dufus!
Golden rule. He who has the gold, rules. Single Payer = GRHC.
You socialists are so Fu&%$ing arrogant. But we’re on to you. You scumbags. And delusional. Thank you internet.

LiberalViewer, you …
LiberalViewer, you are awesome. The way you break these videos down to expose FOX step-by-step, is very well done.
Keep up the good work!
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
to anyone who …
to anyone who thinks public option will destroy the other insurance companies and eliminate choice for the public: has the postal service destroyed ups or fed ex? is the usps your only choice in shipping a package?
October 6th, 2009 at 1:08 pm
As a Canadian with …
As a Canadian with better health care…Yes on all counts. Public option IMO doesn’t negate the open market competition that I’ve always associated with the American way, but yet is an avenue for reform.
